John Magliery

John Magliery is a commercial litigator with a broad range of experience in both state and federal litigation and in arbitration. He has represented large and small clients in a variety of real estate disputes, including landlord and tenant, conveyance, air rights, construction, financing, and mechanic’s lien contexts. In addition, he has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a spectrum of general contract disputes, including disputes regarding employment contracts and other contracts for services, financing agreements, licenses of intellectual property, lending agreements, trade credit agreements, and insurance contracts. He has experience in NASD broker/customer arbitrations and other arbitrations before commercial arbitration panels.

Before joining Kennedy Johnson LLC, Mr. Magliery was an associate in the New York office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, an international full-service law firm, where he concentrated on commercial litigation and intellectual property matters.

Mr. Magliery graduated from Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York with a concentration in advocacy, during part of which he was a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.
